Corporate and personal Global Positioning Systems (GPS) are commonplace and can provide large amounts of data that describe the location of vehicles and drivers. Many of these systems provide these data up to once-per-second.

MSC has the capability to download, evaluate, test, and preserve the event data that can be stored in many commercial- and consumer-grade GPS units. MSC is experienced in dealing with data from corporate telematics packages designed to track fleet movements, as well as consumer-grade GPS units, which can often provide sufficient information to analyze the speed, direction, and location of crash-involved vehicles.
